Spring Break in Turks and Caicos

In April of 2016, my family and I went to Turks and Caicos for a week. There were about 27 of us total, and we all stayed in a rental by the beach. The first day, we hung out by the water, and I nearly drowned. Fortunately, we had a paddle board, which my uncle used to help me float back to shore. Nonetheless, the water was as warm as a bath, and the sand felt smooth beneath our toes. We spent one day on a boat, where we cruised around, and got to eat fresh conch ceviche for lunch. The captain also took us to some shallow areas out in the ocean, where we set up a net and played some volleyball. At the end of the day, we got to drop the anchor off shore from the beach near our accommodation, and we got to jump off of the roof into the ocean. Overall, it was a great trip!

Being that this was a family trip, there were a lot of group activities, but it was never too hard to find one that we could all have fun with. This little country in the middle of the ocean holds a lot of great memories for my family and I.
